Our brief is to create associations with programming, characters and celebrities to that project Volkswagen's core marketing messages to targeted audiences.

We only place cars with lead characters in primetime shows especially BBC dramas, where of course no advertising is allowed. Stars in "our" VW's include Tom Conti, Eddie Jordan, Kirsty Alsop, Niamh Cusack, James Nesbitt, to name but a few!

The Challenge - Making it Real

Cisco is the world leader in telephony used by businesses and public sector organisations.

Both in the USA and the UK, product placement is a vital tool for marketing the Cisco brand name to AB1 business decision makers. Our dedicated in-house Cisco team programme graphics, go on set and install Cisco phones to be fully practical.

Olympus
The Challenge - New Model Launch

The Olympus mju was their very first Tough compact camera. BDE needed to show just how tough. The Gadget Show was interested in testing the camera, so we loaned them a new mju to review.

The Olympus mju 770 featured in the first edition of what would become a regular segment in the show, 'Tested to Destruction'. After the appearance in the show, sales of the mju shot up 200% and Amazon sold out of the model by the end of the week*. *Figures supplied by Olympus

The Brief: Changing Perceptions

Our Sony brief is to change the perception of gaming from an isolated pastime to a fun group activity.

All our placements show creative ways of interacting with the PlayStation3, PSP and Sony games, to increase the viewer's understanding of the products.

We are also the Brand Guardian by only granting legal clearance for on-brief exposure.

The Challenge - Broaden Audience Appeal

We were tasked with increasing the brand appeal to a broader audience.

The BDE placement team targeted primetime dramas and film, matching the correct model with top stars to showcase BMW exterior styling and interior ambience.

Halo Living
The Challenge - Unbranded Integration

Halo's Union Jack Bensington sofa was featured on TLC's coverage of the Royal Wedding. The broadcaster took over Times Square and broadcast pre-show and live footage of the wedding.

TLC recorded the highest viewership on the big day with over 28 million viewers across 30 countries.
Distinctive but non-branded products are still heavily searched on the internet, as this placement proved.
